Children and youth are not only the future of our church - they are our present! Our children and youth lead our congregation in mission, service, prayer, and Bible study. Our church serves people of all ages with love and hope.

Grow with us!

At North Charleston UMC, we strive to lean into the words of Jesus when he said "Let the little children come to me." Our Children's Ministry offers several ways for children to grow closer to God, grow closer to each other, and better know themselves.

Every Sunday we offer Kids Worship during both our 9am and 11am services following the Children’s Moment. Kids Worship is our Children's Church programming that we offer each Sunday for our children aged 4 years old through 5th grade. During this time, children are invited to join our Children's Minister and our Safe Sanctuaries-trained Volunteers for a mini Bible lesson and activities where we will dig deeper into the Bible and discover what truths these stories from long ago hold for us today. During the Current, all children will return to service at the start of Communion. For the Traditional Service, Children will be escorted back down to the Sanctuary during the final hymn.

Every Sunday we also hold Sunday School from 10am to 10:50am upstairs in our children’s classrooms. Additionally, we hold a variety of events and activities throughout the year, such as Vacation Bible School in the summer.
